We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor (Plumbing) with strong personal & professional integrity to join our dynamic workforce.


Responsibilities


The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor (Plumbing) is responsible for overseeing the plumbing maintenance operations within an organization, troubleshooting plumbing issues, implementing preventive maintenance measures, and adhering to relevant regulations and safety standards.


The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor (Plumbing) is expected to;



  • Supervise a team of plumbing technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

  • Schedule and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair activities.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any disciplinary issues.

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.

  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues and develop effective solutions to minimize downtime.

  • Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

  • Conduct safety training sessions for plumbing technicians and enforce safety protocols in the workplace.

  • Monitor inventory levels of plumbing supplies, tools, and equipment.

  • Coordinate with procurement staff to order necessary supplies and maintain adequate stock levels.

  • Liaise with other departments, contractors, and vendors to coordinate plumbing maintenance activities.

  • Communicate effectively with facility managers, building occupants, and other stakeholders regarding plumbing-related issues and maintenance schedules.

  • Participate in meetings and provide updates on maintenance activities, project status, and budgetary concerns.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize plumbing maintenance operations.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulations related to plumbing maintenance further recommend upgrades or modifications to plumbing systems to improve efficiency and performance.


Qualification & Requirements



  •  Bachelors degree in any field; additional vocational training or certification in plumbing maintenance is preferred.

  • Minimium of 3-5 years proven experience  in plumbing maintenance, repair, or supervision, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment, as well as relevant codes and regulations.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals
