We are looking for a female school secretary/administrative officer who will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the school administrative office.
Job Responsibilities
Managing and maintaining student records, including enrollment, attendance, and grades.
Handling incoming and outgoing communications, such as phone calls, emails, and letters.
Assisting with the preparation and distribution of school newsletters, announcements, and other communications to parents, students, and staff.
Coordinating and scheduling meetings, appointments, and events for the school administration.
Managing the school’s filing system, including organizing and archiving documents related to students, staff, and school operations.
Assisting with the coordination of student transportation and school bus schedules.
Supporting the school administration in the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and purchasing supplies.
Assisting with the coordination of school events, such as parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and graduation ceremonies.
Maintaining and updating the school’s website and social media platforms.
Providing general administrative support to teachers, staff, and parents, including photocopying, scanning, and distributing documents.
Maintaining confidentiality of student and staff information
Requirements
A Degree in Secretarial Studies or any related courses with 2-3 years experience
Experience as an educator is a plus
Knowledge of administrative processes of schools
Must be a female between 25 and 40 years
Ability to use computers (e.g. MS Office) and education management systems
