Job Summary

The Assistant Finance Manager will provide support to the Finance Manager in overseeing the financial health of the organization. This position is responsible for a variety of accounting and financial tasks, ensuring their accuracy and timeliness.


Responsibilities



  • Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial processes and procedures.

  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support financial planning and analysis.

  • Assist with budgeting, including creating and monitoring departmental budgets.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments.

  • Oversee cash flow management and reconcile bank statements.

  • Participate in month-end close procedures and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to identify trends and make recommendations.

  • Assist with tax preparation and filing.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software (Excel).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
