Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers of autoparts. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of auto-parts.
Generate purchase orders based on inventory levels, demand forecasts, and production schedules. Ensure accuracy and completeness of purchase orders, including item descriptions, quantities, pricing, and delivery instructions.
Work closely with the inventory management team to maintain optimal levels of autoparts inventory. Monitor inventory levels, track usage patterns, and identify opportunities to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
Collaborate with quality assurance team to ensure that all auto-parts meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct periodic quality audits of auto-parts inventory to identify and address any quality issues.
Requirements:
A Bachelors Degree or its equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on autopart purchases.
Strong knowledge of autoparts market, suppliers, and industry trends.
Proven negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
