Reporting to the Production Manager, you will troubleshoot, repair and maintain heavy duty equipments in the factory.

Responsibilities

• Manage all mechanical/electrical engineering activities and drive preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives


• Responsible for the efficient generation and maintenance utilities and plants (Generators, Boilers, Compressors)


• Ensure optimum stock of engineering spares and drive world class inventory procedures and operations


• Maintain Mixers, band product conveyors, Pumps and all production machines


• Manage all mechanical/electrical engineering activities and drive preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives


• Service and maintain the different types of gearboxes


• Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production


• Ensures full implementation of applicable Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures in accordance with international safety & quality standards


• Ensure repairs and maintenance on site is delivered OTIF (On Time in Full) within scope, cost and schedule

Qualifications

• B.Sc./HND/OND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.


• Similar experience from a production company


• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills with good reasoning ability.


• Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of packaging machines, compressors, generator, fryers, roasters etc.


• Excellent leadership and training skills and ability to work on your own and also work well with others.


• Thorough and attentive to detail.


• Good time management skills and physical coordination and dexterity
