Job Description

• As A Caster Fitter at African Steel Mills, your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of Continuous Caster Machine (CCM) equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for Maintenance of CCM equipments.


• Responsible for Maintenance and trouble shooting of the CCM panels.


• Responsible for proper maintenance of Auto Cutter, Auto Level Controller, pusher & Cooling Bed and other CCM equipments.


• Responsible for maintenance of foot roller & secondary nozzles.


• Responsible to write daily report in the section’s daily report book.


• Responsible to carry out troubleshooting and affect repairs on all types of CCM equipments.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Diploma / ITI in Electrical/Mechanical


• 06 - 08+ years experience in Steel Plants


• Experience in Continuous Caster Machine (CCM)
