Participate in Job Hazard Analysis and Permit to Work as directed by Area Expansion Project Supervisor
Carry out equipment and unit isolation/deisolation for maintenance/project tie-ins and complete isolation certificate in accordance with appropriate procedures.
Carry out Gas test at Client Authorised Gas Safety Tester Operator level as pre-requisite to permit issuance.
Responsible for daily last-minute risk assessment prior to Permit to Work (PTW) execution for control effectiveness and safe work execution.
Carry out permit oversight function on issued work permits to ensure compliance to permit conditions.
Conduct HSE walk about in assigned plant areas to identify any safety improvement action required and to identify any unsafe condition for necessary correction.
Stop any activity in the plant that is considered unsafe or in violation to the Permit to Work or other safe work practice procedure.
Perform any other function as assigned by Operations Area Expansion Supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENT
Education:
OND /HND or University degree in chemical engineering or other engineering/science discipline.
Experience.
Minimum of 3 years working experience in Oil and Gas industry. LNG plant experience is an added advantage.
