Duties and Responsibilities

Electrical technician:

• Carry out maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, automation, and instrumentation of equipment applied by industrial motor controls, chemical feed systems and pump drives


• Perform maintenance, repair, and upgrade of electrical distribution infrastructure


• Troubleshoot problems by gathering and analyzing power quality data


• Ensure longer life of obsolete equipment and save funds by carrying out detailed troubleshooting down to component levels


• Perform maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of control centers, de-energized higher voltage equipment, and 480 volt motors


• Repair and maintain engine generators and carry out work on related control circuit equipment


• Carry out maintenance, repair, and installation of building circuits and similar equipment


• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment policies & procedures (Personal Protective Equipment, Good Housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices) to aim at Zero accident.

Mechanical Technician:

• Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.


• Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.


• Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs


• Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records.


• Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.


• Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.


• Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.


• Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.


• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment policies & procedures (Personal Protective Equipment, Good Housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices) to aim at Zero accident.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Bachelor Degree / HND / OND Degree in Electrical/Mechanical, Trade Test I,II, III, NABTEB in Electrical/Fittings.

Experience:

• 3 years and above.

Technical Competencies:

• Troubleshooting Skill, Problem Solving Skill, Total Productive Maintenance, Technical Skill.
