Job Description
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Responsibilities
- Preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports.
- Reconciliation of accounts.
- Management of Fixed Asset Register
- Reconciliation of accounting discrepancies
- Advising on best practices related to fiscal procedures.
- Analyzing financial data and assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
- Prompt disbursement of loans.
- Assist management teams with financial, strategic, and operational initiatives, while ensuring core value alignment with firm.
- Updating financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest available data.
- Remittance of Pensions, PAYE, WHT and other statutory obligation
- Reviewing existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Raising invoices and ensuring invoices are paid promptly and on time.
- Preparation of financial plan / forecast.
- Assist in the preparation and review of all monthly and quarterly reports for Board, Shareholders, Regulatory bodies etc.
- Providing assistance with payroll administration.
- Monitor and manage expenses within the established budget.
- Keeping records and documenting financial processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Must be Chartered.
- 4 - 7 years experience working as a finance associate.
- Work experience in Financial Services is an added advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes.
- Great analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Remuneration
N200,000 (Negotiable) as net pay Monthly.
