Job Responsibilities:
Project Planning
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including project scope, budget, schedule and resource allocation.
- Create project timelines, milestones, deliverables for each project at hand.
Construction Expertise
- Possess specialized knowledge in road and bridge construction, including construction methods, materials and relevant regulations.
- Oversee the construction of roads, bridges and related infrastructure projects.
Quality Control
- Ensure that all roadworks and bridge construction work adheres to the design specification and meets industry standards and safety regulations.
- Implement quality control processes and inspection.
Budget Management
- Monitor project costs and expenditures, controlling the project’s financial performance.
- Address cost overruns and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.
Time Management
- Manage project schedules to meet deadlines and milestones.
Safety and Environmental Considerations
- Maintain detailed project records and documentation, including progress reports, change orders and construction documentation
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.
- Address any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or its equivalent from a reputable University
- MBA/M.Sc. is an added advantage
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant professional experience with at least 5 years in asenior management role
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in roadworks and bridge construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of road and bridge construction techniques, materials and best practices.
- Strong leadership, team management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, permits and safety standards in the
- construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is an added advantage.
