  • In this role as Site Supervisor in Lagos.

  • You will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities at construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met and that the construction process is streamlined and efficient.


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Supervise the construction works being carried out on site and ensuring the quality is at the required level and delivered on schedule as directed by the Project Manager

  • Interfacing with subcontractors representatives/workers on site to ensure all works are being carried out in line with the approved/relevant drawings and to the required quality

  • Ensuring best work practices are being used and all workers are properly kitted with the essential PPE at all times.

  • Ensuring that all site rules and regulations are strictly adhered to

  • Monitor and report on project progress, including costs, schedule, and quality.

  • Prepare and submit regular project reports to management and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and codes.

  • Perform any other functions as requested by the Project Manager, General manager and Managing Director.


REQUIREMENTS



  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Civil Engineering, Building or related industry, preferably in a supervisory role.

  • Relevant certifications in Engineering or Building technology are an advantage but not required.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.

  • Proficiency in using computer software, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
