The duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Plan, coordinate and oversee all installations (telecommunications, electricity, etc.), repairs and refurbishments
Managing information technology and computer systems
Controlling and evaluating IT and electronic data operations
Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security, etc.
Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
Supervise all facilities staff: custodians, technicians, security, etc.
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
Respond to all members’ building or equipment concerns immediately and with a customer-service oriented attitude
Coordinate technical support and logistics prior to and post events at Workstation
Monitor energy and electricity usage throughout the building including, but not limited to controlling air conditioning, turning lights on/off, reserving energy on appliances, etc.
In conjunction with the Community Operations Associate, store, track, and organize all keys -- all building entrances indoor and outdoor, all rooms with a lock, private offices, and lockable cabinets
Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
Manage IT, staff, by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance
Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
Audit systems and assess their outcomes
Preserve assets, information security and control structures
Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
