Job Responsibilities

• Safely and timely drive company vehicles to transport employees, clients, and/or goods to specified destinations.


• Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and servicing of company vehicles, including regular inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations.


• Obey all traffic laws and regulations, including speed limits, road signs, and traffic signals, to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.


• Plan and determine the most efficient routes for transportation, taking into account factors such as traffic conditions, weather, and time constraints.


• Ensure the safety and security of passengers, goods, and the vehicle at all times, including the use of seat belts, securing cargo properly, and locking the vehicle when unattended.


• Maintain effective communication with the transportation coordinator or supervisor to report any issues, delays, or incidents encountered during transportation.


• Provide courteous and professional customer service to passengers, clients, and other stakeholders, including assisting with loading and unloading luggage or goods.


• Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities, and ensure that all required documents such as driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance are up to date.


• Respond appropriately to emergencies or accidents on the road, including contacting emergency services, providing first aid if necessary, and reporting incidents to the relevant authorities.


• Be flexible and adaptable to changes in schedules, routes, or assignments as required by the company's needs.


• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as any relevant laws or regulations governing transportation and vehicle operation.


• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the company positively to clients and the public.


• Perform other duties as assigned by the transportation coordinator or supervisor, such as running errands, making deliveries, or assisting with office tasks when not driving.


• Overall, the primary responsibility of a company driver is to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of passengers or goods while representing the company in a professional manner.
