We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory and ensure accurate records of goods coming in and out of the warehouse, and providing monthly reports. This role will also involve handling various administrative functions as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking goods received and shipped.
Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely receipt and delivery of goods.
Prepare monthly inventory reports detailing stock levels, usage, and any discrepancies.
Assist in implementing inventory management procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining inventory databases.
Collaborate with team members to resolve inventory-related issues and improve processes.
Qualifications
Minimum of OND / BSc in Social Sciences or related field.
Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and inventory management software.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
