Job Overview



  • As a Preventive Maintenance Engineer, your main responsibility will be to ensure that all machinery and equipment in our facility are properly maintained to prevent any breakdowns or failures.

  • You will work closely with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and schedules, as well as conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they occur.

  • Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be crucial in evaluating equipment performance and recommending necessary repairs or replacements. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation of all maintenance activities.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all machinery and equipment in the facility

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, filter replacement, and calibration

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions or failures

  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule repairs

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment history.


Requirements



  • OND / SSCE / NABTEB in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience in preventive maintenance of fork lift or a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and equipment reliability principles

  • Proficiency in using maintenance management systems or software

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
