Job Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical & electrical Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating electric or gas-powered forklifts to move, stack and retrieve materials.


• This is a vital role in our organization, as you will ensure the efficient and safe movement of products within our warehouse or production facility.To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of forklift operations and safety procedures.


• You should also possess excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to load, unload, stack, and move materials as required


• Inspect forklifts before each shift, checking for any defects or maintenance issues and reporting any concerns to the supervisor


• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment


• Maintain accurate inventory records and update the system accordingly


• Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and containers


• Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse and report any potential hazards or damages


• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadline.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Valid forklift operator certification/license


• Proven experience as a forklift operator


• Excellent knowledge of forklift operations and safety procedures


• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail


• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment


• Basic computer skills and the ability to operate inventory management systems


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
