Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fresh produce section, including fruits, vegetables, and other perishable items.
Monitor inventory levels, freshness, and quality of products.
Lead and supervise a team of fresh department staff.
Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of customer service and product presentation.
Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure optimal stock levels.
Conduct regular stock checks and coordinate with the inventory management team.
Collaborate with the merchandising team to create visually appealing displays.
Ensure that product signage and pricing are accurate and attractive.
Address customer inquiries and concerns related to the fresh produce section, by fostering a customer-centric environment and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Daily floor walk through the department with the manager
Trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover. Ensure Hygiene & housekeeping
Develop process improvements to maximize sales and profitability.
Team briefing, promo information sharing, new products details sharing
Completes inventory management processes, spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.

Follows/compiles with all applicable health/sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
Relevant fresh experience minimum 2 to 3years’ in a retail environment
In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies.
