 Position Overview


As the Head of Operations at Mone Solar Limited, you will oversee the operational aspects of our solar energy projects, including procurement, installation, and site management. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, maintaining high standards of quality, and achieving company goals..


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Procurement and Vendor Management

  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure the company secures the best value for services and materials.

  • Manage procurement processes and maintain accurate records of transactions and inventories.

  • Project and Installation Coordination

  • Oversee the disbursement of materials and coordinate the logistics of installations.

  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the quality expected.

  • Office and Site Operations Management

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Lekki office and coordinate the operational itinerary to various project sites.

  • Ensure all site operations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaboration and Strategic Planning

  • Work closely with the CEO to ensure smooth operations across the company.

  • Participate in strategic planning and execution to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Quality Control and Site Supervision

  • Conduct regular visits to project sites to inspect and supervise installations.

  • Monitor project progress and implement quality control measures to meet or exceed standards.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • ⁠Proven experience in operations management, particularly in solar energy or related industries.

  • ⁠Strong negotiation skills and experience with vendor management.

  • ⁠Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

  • ⁠Knowledge of the industry’s legal rules and guidelines.

  • ⁠In-depth understanding of budgeting, performance management, and workflow processes.

  • ⁠Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
