Job Description



Our client is looking to hire a Corporate Financial Analyst who will be responsible for preparing budgets and financial reports that outline the company’s financial position regarding income and expenses. The ideal candidate will focus on analyzing financial data, preparing reports providing insights to support strategic decision-making within the organization, possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial principles and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.


Responsibilities



  • Identify trends, variances, and anomalies in financial performance and provide insights to management.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting processes.

  • Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, and propose recommendations for improvement.

  • Prepare clear and concise financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant data and ensure accuracy of reports.

  • Support strategic decision-making by providing financial analysis and modeling.

  • Assist in the development of business plans, investment proposals, and other strategic initiatives.

  • Identify financial and non-financial risks, recommending actions for mitigation of those risks 

  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by management.

  • Applying appropriate sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment actions. 

  • Manage capital structure and comparable company analysis. 

  • Process requisitions and other business forms, checking account balances and approving purchases. 

  • Maintain and improve financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Participate in the implementation of new financial software or tools as needed.

  • Oversee and assist in processing all payments, accounts payable, and research and report discrepancies as required. 

  • Assist with audits, reviews, and tax preparation.

  • Managing and documenting accounting records.

  • Aiding with payroll administration  

  • Performing other job-related duties or special projects as required.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, engineering, mathematics ore related field.  

  • Chartered Accountants, CFAS or MBAs, and any other corporate membership will be an added advantage. 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of corporate experience performing similar or inter-related tasks

  • Must have knowledge of accounting, finance, and fiscal valuation. 

  • Excellent MS-excel skills and proficient in financial management software

  • Organization and Time management skill

  • Ability to display initiative and analytical thinking coupled with good problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Must be detail oriented.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
