Role Summary 



  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Associate to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital education industry, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.

  • This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and building relationships with new clients to expand our market presence. 


Responsibilities



  • Meet and/or exceed sales quotas by engaging with prospects and setting up high quality meetings that lead to quality pipeline and revenue.

  • Make contact with potential new customers across a variety of channels - phone, email, social, chat.

  • Generate leads and brand awareness through on-site, face-to-face interactions with partners and customers.

  • Ensure that customer complaints are investigated and promptly resolved across all channels.

  • Review sales performance against set budgets on a periodic basis and recommend action plans for improvement.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly sales reports for management's review.

  • Support in creation of sales messaging, follow up, and presentations to customers and prospective customers/partners.  

  • Develop creative ways and ideas for reaching and engaging with prospect personas. 

  • Track market and sales performance.

  • Maintain relationships with partners. 

  • Complete field marketing campaigns after conducting preliminary research.

  • Managing sales funnel per user and researching existing customers to ensure targeting is precise. 

  • Perform cold outreach, Email, LinkedIn, and Phone Calls and manage leads generated. 

  • Work closely with marketing/sales teams to create programs that drive brand loyalty.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the oil and gas sector. 

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base. 

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, understanding their needs and offering solutions that align with our services.

  • Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with the operations and project management teams to ensure that client needs are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions. 

  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company and forge new business relationships. 

  •  Act on behalf of; and perform any other duties that may be assigned by management. 


Required Competency and Skill Sets



  • This position is open preferably to a female candidate. 

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Sales /Business Development related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications in a relevant field is a plus.

  • 2 years of business development experience specializing in one or more sector.

  • Proven experience in sales across digital education/Academy service is a plus. 

  • Deep understanding of sales systems to support successful sales delivery. 

  • Deep understanding of the digital education/Academy market, including trends, challenges and opportunities. 

  • Curiosity, a can-do attitude and willingness to continually learn. 

  •  Efficient multi-tasker and ability to work & deliver under pressure. 

  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.   

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients and stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Time management and planning skills.

  • Attention to details.
