As an Accounting Officer, your duties and responsibilities include:
- Analyzing financial statements.
- Verifying accounts payable and receivable.
- Preparing the budget as well as financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting transactions
- Checking invoices
- Updating the client’s account
- Preparing financial reports and presenting it to the higher management.
- Working in collaboration with Internal Auditor, External Auditors, and other Accountants
- Analyzing account activities of various other departments of the organization.
- Evaluating internal control systems and providing necessary suggestions.
Requirements
- BSc Degree in Accounting,
- Possess a professional certification (ACA/ICAN)
- Prior experience working as an Accounting Officer or a similar position in the Accounting Department (6 years experience and above).
