Market Analysis and Strategy Development:



  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.

  • Develop strategic business plan and initiatives to capitalise on market opportunities and achieve revenue targets.

  • Identify target markets, segments, and customer profiles for focused sales and marketing efforts.


Business Development and Lead Generation:



  • Generate leads and prospects through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building.

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

  • Drive the development of new business opportunities and strategic partnership to expand market reach and drive revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with the production and design teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and to develop new product offerings based on market demands.

  • Expanding the Clientele base of the company.

  • Drive business development at a high level by constantly developing and implementing measurable and well thought out business development and marketing plan for the company.

  • Any other duties that maybe assigned from time to time by your Supervisor.


Responsibilities



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while continuously seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and use this information to develop targeted sales strategies.

  • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, accurately forecast sales, and report on sales performance and market trends to senior management.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our brand and build industry connections.

  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the garment manufacturing or fashion industry.

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Business Development Role.

  • Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, materials, and industry trends.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven approach.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM
