Responsibilities

• Collect and enter patients data into the database ( Acuitas) daily


• Provide outpatient care for patients with eye-related conditions.


• Conduct routine eye examinations, including glaucoma screening.


• Identify safety factors that could impact vision and educate patients


• Performrefraction and prescribethe most suitable corrective lenses to meet patients' visual requirement


• Dispense eye drops to patients with minor ocular pathologies.


• Measure parameters for lens fitting e.g., wrap angle, BVD, fitting height etc


• Writes referrals for patients who require further care.


• Liaisewith sales representatives who sell vision care products.


• Carry out quality assurance on all lenses received from supplier


• Send report to management team

Skills and Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry with not less than 3 years practicing experience


• Must be tech savvy


• High level of professionalism and detail oriented


• High level of emotional intelligence


• Should be able to work with children


• Must understand mathematical and scientific information


• Must be able to adapt quickly to new technologies and equipment


• Able to explain instructions in simple terms
