As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in the renewable energy sector by installing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
Your responsibilities will include assembling and installing solar panels, mounting hardware, and electrical components according to industry standards and safety guidelines.
Additionally, you will collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other team members to ensure efficient and high-quality installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install solar panels, inverters, racking systems, and other components on rooftops, ground mounts, or other structures.
Perform site assessments to determine optimal panel placement and ensure proper orientation for maximum energy production.
Follow electrical wiring diagrams and blueprints to connect solar PV systems to electrical grids or off-grid battery systems.
Test and troubleshoot system components to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions and maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of construction debris and hazardous materials.
Complete installation projects within established timelines and budget constraints.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions or concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the installation process.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction, electrical work, or renewable energy installation is advantageous.
Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in construction and electrical work.
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
