Research, prioritize, and follow up on issues and concerns addressed to the DG/CEO including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral or response.
Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the DG/CEO’s office and other departments; demonstrating ability to maintain credibility and trust with staff.
Follows up on contacts made by the CEO and supports the cultivation of ongoing relationships.
Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs and white papers. Collaborate with other departments as necessary to create innovative content ideas for the DG/CEO’s office.
Works closely and effectively with the DG/CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follows up appropriately. Keeps abreast of the issues taking place in the environment and keeps the DG/CEO updated.
Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manages a variety of special projects for the DG/CEO, some of which may have organizational impact.
Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously and proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with tight deadlines.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director General/CEO
Facilitate meetings and relationships with external parties. Identifies andconverts new and partnerships and alliances.
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or any other related field.
Post- graduate degree in any related field will be an added advantage.
Member of a relevant professional body e.g. NIM, etc.
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience with at least 3 years in leadership position and marketing or any related field
In-depth knowledge of industry trends and ability to identify new opportunities for the Institute
