- This role will require demonstrated experience and familiarity with strategic planning, development of business initiatives and business analysis.
Responsibilities
- Makes retention and business development calls on existing and potential new clients.
- Documents calls and submits weekly call reports to the Business Development Manager.
- Discusses client needs, problems, or complaints with the Business Development Manager
- Arranges meetings between clients or prospective clients and appropriate personnel.
- Maintains and expands the knowledge base of commercial activities by competitors in the
- market area by site visits, literature reviews, social media reviews and networking and reports these activities to Management as needed.
- Represents the firm at various civic and community functions and events to enhance the company’s image and develop new business.
- Promotes a favorable image of the firm in all business activities within the community.
- Interviews clients, as well as obtains and compiles necessary documentation and financial information to process all types of requests.
- Participates in business development meetings providing input and recommendations.
- Makes recommendations and participates in marketing programs for the company’s products and lending services.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
- 2-3 years proven track record in business development, sales, or a related field, with specific experience in credit sales being highly desirable.
- Strong background in marketing, strategic planning, and business operations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building and sustaining high-level relationships.
Remuneration
- Salary: N100,000 - 120,000 subject to experience.
- Fixed pay coupled with a variable pay component of 20%, which is determined by KPI.
