Responsible & Duties
- Assist in the implementation of Health, Safety and Environment best practices in the unit.
- Ensure the up-to-date servicing of fire extinguishers at all time.
- Assist in the implementation and ensuring compliance of all HSE policies.
Requirements/Skills/Qualifications
- Possess HND or B.Sc. in any Social Science discipline.
- HSE training and other related certification.
- Minimum of 1 to 4 years cognate experience preferably on Electrical Safety, fire fighting and prevention.
- Certification as emergency medical technicians (EMT) is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of firefighting equipment and apparatus.
- Knowledge of first aid/CPR methods.
- A practical mind and problem-solving ability.
- Successful passing of firefighting exams (written, physical, psychological etc.)
- Willingness to follow legal rules and guidelines and firefighting standards at all times
- Great physical strength and stamina partnered with the ability to dress and move quickly
- Patient and cool tempered with the ability to function in a team
