About the Job



  • We are looking to hire a Milk Manager Nigeria who will be responsible for all sourcing of milk.

  • The Milk Manager will contribute to our local milk transformation agenda enable growth, end-to-end efficiency and sustainability. We will be known for co-creating value with the business and deliver our milk collection growth plan.

  • The role is based in Ibadan, Nigeria (a local purchasing role).  The  that will work together with local business partners to secure the milk development in Nigeria


Responsibilities

The Milk Manager willl:



  • Animate the local milk team

  • Guide and validate the implementation of the collection development strategy in the field

  • Monitoring development and upgrade projects

  • Management of the region's KPIs in accordance with the defined objectives

  • Supplying milk to the plant with satisfactory quality and quantity.

  • Compliance with security standards as part of the WISE approach.

  • Accountable for delivering the agreed regional productivity target

  • Fulfill the cash generation targets


The Profile



  • 5-7 years' experience in procurement for agriculture

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Agriculture, Economics or other Social Science, Business Management, Agronomy or relevant field.

  • Previous FMCG experience ideally with expertise ideally in the dairy sector

  • Proven leadership skills, have 'can-do' attitude, be resilient, analytical thinker and result oriented, familiar with technical packaging terminology.

  • Multicultural working environment in global context and preferably multilingual

  • Opportunity to shape the future through creativity and strategic agility 

  • Performs well in high complex and dynamic organization.

  • High Managerial skills on team management and leadership

  • Negotiation techniques

  • Basic financial techniques
