Position Overview



  • As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, security and overall functionality of our facilities.

  • You will play a key role in ensuring that our facilities meet the needs of the organization while adhering to safety and compliance standards


Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Management:



  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing functionality of equipment, systems, and infrastructure.

  • Co-ordinate and oversee maintenance activities, including repairs, upgrades, and renovations

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for facility maintenance services.


Facility Operations:



  • Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including building security, , utilities management, and janitorial management

  • Monitor facility usage and make recommendations for optimizing space utilization and efficiency

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement measures to mitigate risks


Team Leadership



  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers

  • Provide training, guidance, and support to facility management team members to ensure high performance and job satisfaction


Budget and Resources Management:



  • Develop and Manage the facility management budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenses

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize facility-related expenditures.

  • Maintain accurate records of facility-related expenses and financial transactions.


Strategic Planning



  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement facility management strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives

  • Participate in long-term planning and decision-making related to facility expansion, relocation, or renovation projects


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field

  • 2 - 4 years relevant work experience.

  • Proven experience in facility management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of facility operations and maintenance best practices

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
