What you’ll get to do
- Ensure the institutions policies, procedures and standards are followed according to established guidelines and make recommendations for improvements.
- Manage risk assessment of customer transactions
- Prompt investigation and resolution of disputes and process failures
- Reconcile daily, weekly and monthly transactions
- Ensure the branch operations staff adhere to the workflow process(es) that are designed by the Bank's Operations and Risk management Teams and approved by Executive Management.
- Take necessary measures to provide the needed support for smooth operations.
- Managing the branch vault and daily transactions reconciliation
- Guide and provide direct in line with the banks policies, standards and guidelines all operational aspects including distribution operations and customer service in branch
- Leadership training, coaching, development and motivation to bring out best in the branch's staff members.
To succeed in this role, we think you should have
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Proven branch management experience, as a Bank Manager or similar role
- Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
- Experience in payments or transaction operations
- Familiarity with industry's rules and regulations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Result driven and customer focused
- Proven ability to track, measure and optimize multi-disciplined operations team, significant management experience ideally in a customer-centric role
