- Nest Restaurant is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Store Officer to oversee our restaurant's inventory and supply chain management.
- As a Store Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely deliveries to support our restaurant's operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Regularly monitor stock levels of food, beverages, kitchen supplies, and other consumables. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Procurement:Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality products are procured at competitive prices. Place orders in a timely manner to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Receiving and Storage:Receive deliveries, inspect items for quality and quantity, and ensure proper storage according to food safety standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, purchases, and deliveries. Generate reports as needed for management review.
- Stock Rotation: Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Resolve any issues related to deliveries, quality, or pricing.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, and other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Communicate any stock-related issues or shortages promptly.
- Compliance:Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations. Monitor shelf life of products and take appropriate actions to minimize wastage.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field preferred.
- At least 4 years proven work experience as a Store OfficerStorekeeper, or similar role in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management as well as hospitality practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is a plus.
