The Role
Based in Abuja, Nigeria, the FSSP Project Coordinator tasks include but are not limited to the following:
- Facilitating communication between stakeholders to clarify requirements or resolve any queries;
- Ensuring administrative oversight of service rendered and quality assurance of their deliverables;
- Ensuring the quality of the reporting and invoicing for services rendered;
- Coordinating project activities with stakeholders;
- Administering the provision of logistical services, such as travel arrangements and event planning;
- Arranging and confirming meetings;
- Booking event space with interpretation, videoconferencing/teleconferencing services.
Required Qualifications:
- Master of political science, law, international development, economics, finance, business administration, project management, social sciences, engineering, applied sciences, or similar;
- Must have at least 5 years, (60 months) of international development project delivery experience as a Project Coordinator. The 60 months can be counted in a maximum of 2 projects, with donors such as Global Affairs Canada, USAID, GIZ, etc.
- Selected projects as Project Coordinator within the 5 years, (60 months) must have a total value at or above 1 million CAD.

- Ensuring the quality of the reporting and invoicing for services rendered;
- Coordinating project activities with stakeholders;
- Administering the provision of logistical services, such as travel arrangements and event planning;
- Arranging and confirming meetings;
- Booking event space with interpretation, videoconferencing/teleconferencing services.
- Integrating stakeholder priorities and needs into the planning and execution of coordinated actions.
- Convening and facilitating project-related consultations and policy dialogue among stakeholders.
- Liaising and coordinating with multiple stakeholders at country or regional level working in the sector targeted by the project; and
- Working with 3 or more types of stakeholders (i.e., donors, government, civil society, private sector, academia) for an international development project.
