What you will do



  • As part of the high-performing team, you will be applying your skills and knowledge to build the business and create value to customers through multi-engagement channels (face-to-face and virtually). 

  • Our sales strategies are emergent and addresses the currents needs in the market. You’ll be part of the brainstorming and co-creating solutions for our customers and patients. 

  • As a successful candidate, you will engage with Endocrinologists, Cardiologists, Family Physicians, Nephrologists, Pharmacists, Pulmonologists in Abuja and Northern Nigeria, in a multi-account approach where multi-discipline treatment of CVRM, GI &RESP patients.


Typical accountabilities will include:



  • Sales representative with the principal function of calling upon primary care physicians and retail pharmacies.


Sales Achievement



  • Effectively implement sales strategies and tactics

  • Business Savvy for Territory Success

  • Integrates business trends into local sales plans.

  • Uses business principles (TAP etc.) to boost sales.

  • Analyses data to build winning sales strategies.

  • Positions solutions within AZ's value proposition.

  • Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.


Customer-Centric Sales Approach



  • Deeply understand customer needs & healthcare landscape.

  • Tailor message to patient journey, disease impact, & decision-makers.

  • Develop pre-call plans & establish unmet needs.

  • Use active listening & questioning to build value & address concerns.

  • Deliver personalized messages & handle objections.

  • Secure commitment & share insights with team.

  • Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory.

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.

  • Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED



  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or completed degree in sciences.

  • 2-4 years Pharma sales experience

  • Existing relationships and knowledge with KOL’s in the therapeutic area

  • Previous experience with facilitating and organising meetings.

  • Must have a Valid driver’s license

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Proven sales and customer success record

  • Previous experience and knowledge of the therapeutic area
