  • We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join one of our portfolio companies as a course category manager.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of course categories on our platform.

  • You will work closely with content creators, instructors, and other internal teams to curate a compelling catalog of courses that meet the needs and interests of our learners.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and target audience.

  • Research market trends, competitor activities, and user feedback to identify opportunities for new course categories and improvements to existing ones.

  • Collaborate with content creators and instructors to curate high-quality courses that align with the needs and interests of our learners.

  • Manage the end-to-end process of course category creation, including content selection, pricing, and promotion.

  • Optimize course category performance through data analysis, A/B testing, and other strategies to drive user engagement and revenue growth.

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop and implement promotional campaigns and initiatives.

  • Monitor key metrics and performance indicators for course categories, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to online education and course development.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, education, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in category management, product management, or marketing, preferably in the education or technology sector.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with content creators, instructors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Creative thinking and a passion for innovation, with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Familiarity with online learning platforms and industry trends is a plus.
