Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and drawings that meet client needs and comply with building codes and regulations.


• Create detailed architectural plans, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.


• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into architectural designs.


• Prepare and present design proposals to clients, including 3D models and renderings.


• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams during the building process.


• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.


• Review and approve materials, finishes, and construction methods to maintain quality and consistency.


• Proficiency in building design, including conceptualization and development of architectural plans.


• Strong ability to create presentation drawings and working drawings with attention to detail.


• Extensive site and construction experience, including knowledge of construction management practices.


• Keen eye for finishes and materials selection.


• Ability to develop and maintain site work sequences and schedules.


• Excellent record-keeping skills to track project progress and changes.


• Effective supervision of workmen to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.


• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.


• Proven experience as an Architect, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.


• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar.


• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.


• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and functional designs.


• Registration or licensure as an Architect is an added advantage.
