Job Summary

• The Meter Assembling Project Manager will oversee all aspects of meter assembling projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.


• This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and technical knowledge of meter assembling processes. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities 

Strategical Functions:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Execute projects according to established timelines and milestones.


• Implement quality control measures to ensure that assembled meters meet industry standards and customer requirements.


• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful project delivery.


• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives, address concerns, and provide regular updates on project progress.


• Evaluate project performance and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in meter assembling processes.

Operational Functions:

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and contractors to execute meter assembling projects.


• Allocate resources efficiently to support project activities, including materials, equipment, and manpower.


• Coordinate with procurement teams to acquire necessary materials and components for meter assembly, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.


• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to meter assembling processes and product specifications.


• Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering


• NYSC Discharge certificate or exemption letter;


• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in installing Meters, and Inverters.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Project, and the ability to use AutoCAD is an advantage.


• Strong project management skills


• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.


• A professional affiliation is an added advantage.
