Job Description

Liaise with:

• Kitchen Shift Leader/Sous Chef, Kitchen Chef, Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef, Floor Team

Mission

• To keep the department running in an efficient and profitable manner while increasing customer satisfaction, loyalty, retention and to meet customers’ expectations.

Tasks

• Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate growth by attending to a customer in a professional way


• Follow through with the ordering and receiving products in accordance with the company standards.


• Monitoring and following up on product inventories/refill and requesting necessary stocks and equipment


• Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the display areas


• Escalating concerns to the management for immediate resolution


• Maintain the service procedures, policies and standards within the display unit.


• Keep accurate records and document where necessary.


• Mentor and develop display attendants to align with the standards of the organization


• Orientate and encourage staff to promote products and push sales.


• Ensure display staff maintain good grooming, hygiene, safety and sanitation practices at all times.


• Liaise with manager to create effective schedules and resolve conflicts in a timely manner to ensure that the display section is well staffed during peak and off-peak hours/periods.


• Monitor staff attendance, performance and annual leave


• Participate in their coaching, appraisal and development areas to align with the departmental and company goals.


• Ensure good and professional communication channel among the team.


• And any other responsibility that may be added.
