As the Financial Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our organization.
Drawing upon your expertise in financial management and healthcare/nonprofit finance, you will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, grant management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Prepare and monitor annual budgets, working closely with department heads and program managers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
Manage grant funding, including proposal development, budgeting, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.
Conduct regular financial reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure transparency and accountability.
Collaborate with external auditors, government agencies, and funding partners to facilitate audits and reviews as required.
Provide guidance and support to staff and volunteers on financial matters, including training and capacity-building initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the healthcare or nonprofit sector.
Strong understanding of nonprofit finance principles, fund accounting, and grant management.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to communicate financial information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
