Requirements and qualifications

• HND/BSc. in Marketing and or Agricultural Sciences is a must have


• 7 - 10years of experience as a Marketing Manager, preferably with professional training and certifications in Marketing and/or agriculture.


• Good knowledge of digital marketing tactics and best practices


• Experience with organizing local and regional marketing strategies


• Ability to communicate outstandingly and a strategic thinker


• Experience with marketing tools and software


• Proficient in English language and the local language of the region.


• Excellent Team player

Skills:

• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.


• Flexible outlook towards task management.


• Understanding of existing market offerings, demographics in trade area and regional market.


• Proven ability to obtain regional market loyalty


• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers and the general public.


• Ability to effectively create and propose marketing and sales proposals to local and national companies.


• Strategic planning / thinking and budgeting skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and Web/Internet/e-mail technologies


• Must be resident in the region chosen or willing to relocate.
