Job Description

• Resolve, repair and Install fiber optic infrastructure and upgrade existing ones.


• Performing troubleshooting on fiber optic network to identify points of failure and provide solutions


• Execute premises cabling and take care of the underground and underwater cabling requirements


• Examine and replace faulty and old fiber optic cables and also organize scheduled maintenance routines


• Maintain accurate records of fiber optics network installation, splicing activities, test results, and equipment inventory.


• Generate reports detailing project progress, performance metrics, and any deviation from project plans.

Requirements

• Experience in fiber optic maintenance, installation and design.


• OND, HND or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information communication technology or related field.


• Good understanding of Fiber tools such as Splicing machine, OTDR, VFL.


• proficiency in fiber optic splicing, termination and testing techniques.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.


• Relevant certifications a plus.
