A minimum of a first degree, preferably in a business related discipline.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in microfinance, at least five at management level.
Verifiable track record of business growth in the microfinance space.
Up to date knowledge of the fin tech environment.
MCIB designation (Chartered Institute of Banking of Nigeria) or any other recognized microfinance certification.
Job Description
Drive business development, utilizing his/her networks to build loan volumes across all product lines, and attract new sources of funding.
Oversee the overall operations of the MFI, including loan processing and disbursement, operations, risk assessment, and loan monitoring and recovery.
Drive the development of new products and enhancement of existing products to expand business reach.
Oversee tracking of performance against budget.
Oversee the timely completion of the annual audit process in conjunction with the Finance team.
Liaise with the Finance function to ensure timely preparations of financial reports, including monthly management accounts, board reports and annual budget.
Oversee the deployment of technology solutions to enhance the Company’s market reach.
Enhance the Company’s visibility through the deployment of appropriate marketing channels.
