Job Description

• This role will help to bring company products and ideas to life.


• It will also identify and realize user needs on both homegrown and external software solutions in a product and service environment.


• It will unearth prominent business OKRs for projects and products, articulate what success looks like per situation, design the tools, processes, activities and pathway to success, and rally team members to turn that vision into reality.


• It will also take control of client-facing communications on external projects and be responsible for realizing project goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Discussing potential projects and their parameters with clients, and software developers.


• Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance.


• Handling pre-sales activities including communication, analysis, documentation handling, and agreements signing to be sent and received from clients


• Take charge of coordinating and developing winning proposals and bids for the company


• Define go-to-market strategy, product strategy, and product roadmap for in-house products


• Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification


• Break down project requirements into user stories and feature specifications


• Set up project backlog on project boards


• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer needs


• Manage project delivery using Scrum methodology including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and reviews


• Direct on product designs and feature workflows by providing sketches and flowcharts to further assist software engineers and product designers in understanding tasks


• Lead/collaborate with the development team to successful implementation and delivery on projects and products


• Be in constant communication with team members to track their progress and determine any challenges they might be facing.


• Manage project communications and be the liaison between the company and clients, providing relevant information where necessary, and making formal and informal status updates to all stakeholders


• Coordinate and oversee the testing of applications/features developed by software engineers on projects


• Coordinate and oversee the development and continuous update of user manuals/documentation for all work done by the team


• Ensure client expectations are met with respect to project objectives


• Manage the collection of client feedback at end of projects


• Provide detailed and well-rounded reports on project progress during and after the project execution


• Coordinate the development of lesson learned reports with other members of the team

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field


• At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role.


• Excellent product management skills and capabilities


• Good working knowledge of project management techniques


• Strong understanding of the blockchain and cryptocurrency concepts and ecosystem. You must be able to identify possible use cases and application of blockchain to various types of solutions, especially commerce/retail.


• Great ability with system, process, and workflow designs


• Excellent writing and speaking skills


• Ability to create and deliver great presentations internally and to clients


• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes. The ability to use sketching and/or product design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, InVision, Canva) is an advantage


• Good technical background and knowledge.


• Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills


• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills


• Goal-oriented and self-motivated

Advantage:

• Good understanding and conversance with blockchain and cryptocurrency concepts


• Previous experience in a technology-enabled commerce or online retail and distribution environment


• Software development background


• Good understanding or certification in Scrum is a distinct advantage
