Role Description



  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth and increasing revenue by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and maintaining existing businesses.

  • This includes developing and implementing strategies to expand the company's customer base, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and collaborating with the sales and marketing teams.

  • The role is a full-time role, primarily located in Lagos, with flexibility for some remote work.


Qualifications



  • Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Have experience in the Mutual Fund market.

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field of at least 8 years.

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Knowledge of the financial industry and capital markets

  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus
