We are seeking to hire a dedicated and dynamic Program Officer to join our team. The Program Officer will play a key role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and projects within our organization.
Responsibilities
Program Planning and Development
Develop program plans, timelines, and budgets in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
Development and implementation of grant portfolios
Develop grant making activities in a team-oriented way, that are aligned with organization goals
Cultivate and maintain relationships with program stakeholders, including funders, partners, government agencies, community organizations, and program participants.
Prepare regular progress reports, grant proposals, and other program-related documentation for internal and external audiences.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all reporting activities.
Monitor program progress, evaluate outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, project coordination, or related fields.
Demonstrated experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based organization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
Analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make evidence-based recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and IT software.
