The Communications Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that align with our business objectives.
This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will have experience in public relations, media relations, and corporate communications.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic communication plan that enhances the hospital’s brand and reputation.
Craft compelling content for press releases, newsletters, social media, and internal communications.
Manage media relations, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and maintaining relationships with journalists.
Oversee the hospital’s digital presence, including website content and social media channels.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
Coordinate and manage events, including press conferences, product launches, and corporate events.
Handle crisis communication and provide counsel to senior leadership during high-stakes situations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a communications role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Proven track record in developing and implementing successful communication strategies.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategies.
