Our company, a leading provider and financer of power equipment solutions in Nigeria, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Officer to join our team. As a Business Development Officer, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across our range of products and services.


Responsibilities



  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the power equipment market, including generators, solar panels, inverters, and batteries.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the power industry.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.

  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues related to power equipment sales and service.

  • Collaborate with the finance team to structure and negotiate financing options for customers, ensuring a seamless and efficient sales process.

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition of Power Ally's products and services.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring compliance and alignment with company policies and procedures.

  • Represent Power Ally at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our brand and expand our market presence.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Proven experience in sales and service of power equipment, including generators, solar panels, inverters, and batteries.

  • Strong technical knowledge of power systems and equipment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.

  • Finance industry experience is an added advantage.

  • Design and copywriting skills are essential

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
