Job Description
A leading indigenous manufacturing company with over 25 years of impacting the nation’s medical sector is looking to recruit an experienced Consolidation Accountant to spearhead the financial management of its diverse divisions.
Job Summary:
The person will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, driving business performance, overseeing the financial management of all divisions and supporting the company’s continued growth and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Will oversee and manage the divisional accounts across the divisions
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, cashflow planning, and financial forecasts for each division.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency across divisions.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to drive business decisions.
- Collaborate with divisional accountants to develop and implement financial plans and strategies.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
- Tax Management and Planning
Requirements:
- Professional accounting qualification (ICAN or ACCA.)
- 8+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Ability to travel to project sites and divisions as required.
