Primary Objective

• To assist the Head of TV Eastern Africa in managing Trace AWA, including music research, playlist management and updates, conducting weekly committees, and maintaining close communication with local artists and the Trace for Artists teams

Key Responsibilities

Playlist Management:

• Search for music for TV committees and playlists.


• Decide movements in the playlist.


• Fill in the playlist document each week and any other documents related to Trace Naija and Trace JAMA.

Weekly Committee:

• Lead the weekly committee of Trace Naija and Trace JAMA.


• Launch briefs for the auto-promotion of Trace Naija and Trace JAMA, according to the strategy defined by the Head of TV.

Content Watch:

• Active content watch for Trace Naija and Trace JAMA.


• Assist the Head of TV in negotiations with potential partners, producers, and content providers.

Liaison with Local Stakeholders:

• Be the link with local artists, producers, and the Trace for Artists teams.


• Respond to all Trace for Artists requests (external or internal).

Desired Profile

• Experience in the media sector, particularly in television or radio.


• Perfect knowledge of the Music & Content Markers in Nigeria, and Ghana.


• Project management and organizational skills.


• Deep knowledge of the music scene, especially genres related to Trace Naija and Trace JAMA.


• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.


• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Expected Results / Mission Success Criteria:

• Maintain and enhance the quality and relevance of Trace Naija and Trace JAMA's playlists.


• Strengthen relationships with local actors and partners.


• Contribute to increasing the audience and impact of the channel in the region.


• Ensure consistency and alignment with the strategic objectives set by the Head of TV.
