Responsibilities



  • Initiating bank online portal for payment posted of vendors, customs duty, travel bills, andintercompany fund transfers.

  • Preparing and submitting daily sales reports to management.

  • Responsible for all financial aspects of the organization.

  • To manage &prepare financialreports,and ensure that all financial transactionsare conductedlegally and ethically.

  • Preparing and submission of daily advance sales reports/pending dispatch reports.

  • Submission of daily management reports.

  • Reconciliation of outstanding report.

  • Reconciliation of physical inventory with books.

  • Recording daily payable/receivable transactions into the ERP system.

  • Reconciliation and analysis with vendor statements.

  • Preparation of monthly financial statements with all required supporting annexes.

  • Passing of monthly provisional entries to ensure proper closure of books.

  • Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Reconciliation of withholding tax and remitting with concerned authorities.

  • Ensure all monthly statutory payments like VAT, PAYE, andpensionare remitted.

  • Assisting inMIS,andad-hoc reporting to management.

  • Reconciliation of intercompany balances and submission of reports.

  •  Ensuring settlement of travel bills as per company policy.


Requirements



  • Good in using Microsoft Excel.

  • Reports to the Head of Finance.

  • Must be ICAN Certified.

  • Candidates with Treasury experience are preferred.

  • The candidate must reside in Lagos.

  • 7 – 10 years’ work experience.

  • Good knowledge ofVAT,andPAYE.

  • Working hours (Mon till Sat / 8 am - 6 pm)

  • Gender Preference: Both Male and Female.

  • To interact frequently with other departments and participate fully in the day-to-day functioning of the business.

  • Communication Skills.

  • Critical Thinking Analysis of financial and MIS reports,

  • Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.

  • Multi-tasking.

  • Good team member.

  • Focused and efficient in timely delivering desired outputs.
