Role Summary: 



  • The General Manager (Expat) will be responsible for leading and managing all operations within the organization and its subsidiaries, driving sales and increasing profitability, exceptional customer experiences, and efficient business operational processes.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hospitality management, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive performance in a competitive market. 


Key Responsibilities: 



  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, increase market share, and enhance brand reputation across all sectors. 

  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to ensure profitability and sustainable business operations. 

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency, quality standards, and regulatory compliance across all departments and locations. 

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. 

  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, drive revenue, and expand market reach. 

  • Customer/Guest Experience: Maintain high standards of service excellence,  guest satisfaction, and brand loyalty through personalized experiences and  attention to detail. 

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational  risks through proactive measures and effective crisis management strategies. 

  • Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with  stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and industry contacts to support business  objectives and growth initiatives. 

  • Profitability Management: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue  growth, optimize profitability, and achieve financial targets across all business  units.


Qualifications and Experience: 



  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field  (Additional/further education in hospitality is an added advantage) 

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in luxury hospitality  management, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles. 

  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and  revenue management. 

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. 

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate, problem-solve, and drive results in a  dynamic environment. 

  • Experience working in international markets and multicultural teams is highly  desirable. 

  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology platforms used in the hospitality  industry.
